Index to American Conchologist
A great publication is only as useful as its index. The American Conchologist (and The COA Bulletin, its former title) are indexed in two parts. Part 1, Special Publication 1 of the Conchologists of America, covers the journal from its days as a newsletter in 1973 through 1991 (Volume 1-Volume 19, Number 4). It is available for $4.00.
Part 2 is an index update. The original index, published in 1991, was the pet project of Winston Barney of Houston, Texas, with a great deal of editorial assistance from COA members Walter Sage, Richard Goldberg and Lynn Scheu. It has been carried on since 1991 by Winston and other dedicated volunteers. The current (September 1996) edition of the Supplement to the Index covers 1992-1995. It is available for $2.50.

The COA Twenty-year History
COA has also produced an illustrated Twenty Year History of Conchologists of America (1972-1991). Written by COA Historian Lucy Clampit, and edited by Richard Goldberg, Walter Sage, and Lynn Scheu, this Special Publication 2 of the Conchologists of America sells for $2.00.
